The north-eastern Nigeria bears the brunt of these gruesome terrorist activities, while the terrorist have spread their scope of attacks beyond the borders of Nigeria to Chad and Niger.

Murder/assassination has been on the rise in recent weeks as cult clashed, communal crises, and premeditated killings are recorded across the country. The authorities have also stepped up their act with the arrests of culprits following some tip-offs and investigations.

Although, robbery and kidnap, remain on the low in recent times (thanks to the Nigerian police force and other law enforcement agencies for their bravery), we cannot simply rule out its existence as few cases are recorded within the south-south and south-western regions of Nigeria. People are advised to be constantly on the lookout for suspicious movements and activities.
Individuals and corporate entities are strongly advised to maintain high security consciousness and remain alert to their environments. Timely reporting of suspicious activities to the authorities could prevent crime and save lives.
The priority remains to stay safe.
