Murder/assassination over time has consistently intensified in the society as individuals are daily killed by assassins and in some cases, armed robbers and neighbours. Related incident like this have taken its toll in the society and spreads across various parts of the country with the southern region having more of such cases.

As the February general elections in Nigeria approach, political motivated attacks are being witnessed with rivals groups from the two major political parties (PDP & APC) hitting at each other and trading blames.

Security consciousness remains the watchword. Government Security agents have continued to urge persons living in the country to remain alert to threats and promptly report any perceived threat, strange behaviour or movement noticed to the appropriate authorities for investigation.

Villeworth urges everyone to be security conscious to stay safe.
